Cylinder Block Top Surface Distortion

- Remove gasket on the cylinder block surface and also remove engine oil, scale, carbon and other contamination using suitable tool.CAUTION: Do not allow gasket flakes to enter engine oil or engine coolant passages.
- Measure distortion on cylinder block upper face at some different points in six directions using suitable tools (A/B).

- If measured value exceeds standard replace cylinder block.
