ELECTRIC INTAKE VALVE TIMING CONTROL MODULE : Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes. Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT : Removal & Installation .
  2. Remove the engine side cover (LH). Refer to FENDER PROTECTOR : Exploded View .
  3. Partially remove the fender protector (LH). Refer to FENDER PROTECTOR : Exploded View .
  4. Remove the air cleaner resonator. Refer to AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT : Removal & Installation .
  5. Disconnect the harness connector from the electric intake valve timing control module.
  6. Remove the electric intake valve timing control module nuts.
  7. Remove the electric intake valve timing control module.
