Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining .
    CAUTION: Perform this step when the engine is cold.
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the radiator hose (lower) from the water inlet.
  5. Remove the water hose, water hose A and CVT water hose A from the water pump housing.
  6. Loosen the water pump housing bolts in reverse of the sequence shown and remove the water pump housing.

    CAUTION: Do not reuse water pump housing gasket.
  7. Remove the water pump (if necessary).
