Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Install the thermostat with the whole circumference of the flange fitting securely inside the rubber ring.
CAUTION:
- Do not reuse rubber ring.
- Ensure thermostat rubber ring mounting surface is free from dents or flaws.

Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve facing upwards. The position deviation may be within the range of +/-10 deg..
After installation, refill engine coolant. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT : Refilling .
