PR25DD engine: Removal

  1. Disconnect the 12V battery. Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT : Removal & Installation
  2. Remove the core support cover. Refer to Exploded View (with fog lamp) or Exploded View (without fog lamp).
  3. Remove the air cleaner and air duct. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the control cable nut (A).

  5. Remove manual lever nut (B) and lock washer (C) from the bracket and remove manual lever.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse lock washer.
  6. Remove bolts (D) and disconnect harness connector (E).
  7. Remove transmission range switch.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse transmission range switch.
