DTC Confirmation Procedure

CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC P2617 is displayed with DTC P0335 or P0643, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC P0335 or P0643.

Is DTC P0335 or P0643 detected?

YES

Perform diagnosis of applicable.
- DTC P0335: Refer to DTC Description .
- DTC P0643: Refer to DTC Description .
NO

GO TO 2.
PRECONDITIONING
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

GO TO 3.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 5 seconds.
2. Start the engine and wait at least 5 seconds.
3. Check 1st trip DTC.
Is DTC P2617 detected?

YES

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

NO

To check malfunction symptom before repair:Refer to Inspection .

NO

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
