Diagnosis Procedure

CONSULT

1. Disconnect front combination lamp LH (upper) connector and front combination lamp RH (upper) connector.
2. Ignition switch ON.
3. Select "EXTERNAL LAMPS" in "Active Test" mode of "IPDM E/R".
4. With operating the test items, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

GO TO 3.

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connectors.
3. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector, front combination lamp LH (upper) harness connector and front combination lamp RH (upper) harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connectors.
3. Check continuity between the IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

   E201	62

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to IPDM E/R : Removal & Installation .

NO

Repair or replace harness.

Check continuity between front combination lamp LH (upper) and front combination lamp RH (upper) harness connectors and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

Install the normal front combination lamp to the applicable headlamp.

Is the headlamp turned ON?

YES

Replace front combination lamp. Refer to FRONT COMBINATION LAMP : Removal & Installation .

NO

LED headlamp is normal. Check headlamp control system.
