Component Inspection - AWD models

  1. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT AND FUEL PUMP (MAIN) (FUEL LEVEL SENSOR) 
    1. Remove the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) (fuel level sensor). Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT, FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY : Removal & Installation .
    2. Check the resistance between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) (fuel level sensor) terminals.

      *: When float rod is in contact with stopper.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Replace fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) (fuel level sensor). Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT, FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY : Removal & Installation .

  2. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT (SUB) 
    1. Remove the fuel level sensor unit (sub). Refer to Removal and Installation .
    2. Check the resistance between fuel level sensor unit (sub) terminals.
