INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY : Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes. Refer to Battery disconnect : Removal & Installation .
  2. Remove center console assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation  (With electric parking brake) or Removal and Installation  (Without electric parking brake).
  3. Using a suitable tool release metal clips and remove instrument side finishers [1 (LH/RH)].

    : Metal clip
  4. Remove front pillar finishers (LH/RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Remove combination meter. Refer to COMBINATION : Removal & Installation .
  6. Remove instrument finisher A. Refer to INSTRUMENT FINISHER A : Removal & Installation .
  7. Remove audio unit, Refer to AUDIO UNIT : Removal & Installation or AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation (without Bose audio unit) or Removal and Installation (with Bose audio unit).
  8. Disconnect harness connector from AV control unit.
  9. Remove front speaker grille [1 (LH)].

  10. Remove instrument panel screw (A) from the instrument panel.
    NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

  11. Remove combination switch. Refer to COMBINATION SWITCH : Removal & Installation .
  12. Remove instrument panel assembly bolts.
  13. Disconnect the harness connectors from the instrument panel assembly.
  14. Remove the instrument panel assembly.
