Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK HEADLAMP (HI) OUTPUT VOLTAGE
CONSULT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect front combination lamp LH (upper) connector and front combination lamp RH (upper) connector.
- Ignition switch ON.
- Select "EXTERNAL LAMPS" in "Active Test" mode of "IPDM E/R".
- With operating the test items, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
GO TO 3.
- CHECK HEADLAMP (HI) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connectors.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector, front combination lamp LH (upper) harness connector and front combination lamp RH (upper) harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace front combination lamp. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK HEADLAMP (HI) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connectors.
- Check continuity between the IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

- CHECK HEADLAMP (HI) GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between the front combination lamp LH (upper) harness connector, front combination lamp RH (upper) harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to IPDM E/R : Removal & Installation .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
