Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the center console side finishers (1) (LH/RH).
    1. Remove the center console side finisher screw cover.
    2. Remove the center console side finisher screw (A) (LH/RH).

    3. Release the clips using a suitable tool, then remove the center console side finisher.

      SHIKAKU-H : Metal clip

  2. Remove the shift selector knob (CVT only) with the following procedure:

    1. Slide the knob cover (1) down.
    2. Pull out the lock pin (2).
    3. Pull the shift selector knob (3) and knob cover upwards to remove.
  3. Remove the shift selector finisher (1).

    1. Remove cluster lid C lower. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
    2. Remove the shift selector screws (A).
    3. Release the clips using a suitable tool, then remove the shift selector finisher.

      SHIKAKU-H : Metal clip

  4. Release the center console cup holder finisher clips, then remove the center console cup holder finisher (1).

  5. Remove the center console screw cover (1) using a suitable tool and the center console screws (A) (LH/RH).

  6. Remove the console rear finisher.
    1. Release the center console rear finisher cover pawls using a suitable tool, then remove the center console rear finisher cover (1).

      MARU-H : Pawl

    2. Release the center console rear finisher clips using a suitable tool, then remove the center finisher (1).

  7. Remove the remaining center console screws (A).

  8. Remove the A/C switch assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (MANUAL A/C), or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (AUTOMATIC A/C).
  9. Disconnect the harness connectors from the center console assembly and remove.
