Diagnosis Procedure
Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM - JAPAN PRODUCTION , or WIRING DIAGRAM - USA PRODUCTION .
- CHECK SLIDING SWITCH SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK SLIDING SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit and power seat switch LH.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and power seat switch LH harness connector.
Driver seat control unit Power seat switch LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B213 9 B215 6 Yes 24 7 - Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Driver seat control unit connector Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B213 9 No 24
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT
- Connect the driver seat control unit.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK SLIDING SWITCH
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Replace power seat switch LH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
