Diagnosis Procedure
Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM - JAPAN PRODUCTION , or WIRING DIAGRAM - USA PRODUCTION .
- CHECK LIFTING SWITCH (REAR) SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

(rear)Operate (downward) 0 Release Battery voltage 27 Operate (upward) 0 Release Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK LIFTING SWITCH (REAR) CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit and power seat switch LH.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and power seat switch LH harness connector.
Driver seat control unit Power sear switch LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B213 11 B215 8 Yes 27 9 - Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Driver seat control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B213 11 No 27
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT
- Connect the driver seat control unit.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK LIFTING SWITCH (REAR)
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Replace power seat switch LH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
