Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM - JAPAN PRODUCTION , or WIRING DIAGRAM - USA PRODUCTION .

  1. CHECK LIFTING MOTOR LH (REAR) POWER SUPPLY

    G-20 CONSULT

    1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
    2. Perform "SEAT LIFTER RR" in "Active Test" mode of "AUTO DRIVE POS." See STEP  1.
    3. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace lifting motor LH (rear). Refer to EXPLODED VIEW WITH TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2. 

  2. CHECK LIFTING MOTOR (REAR) CIRCUIT

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and lifting motor LH (rear).
    3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and lifting motor LH (rear) harness connector.

    4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3. 

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

    Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
