Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM- JAPAN PRODUCTION , or WIRING DIAGRAM- USA PRODUCTION .

  1. SELF-DIAGNOSIS WITH AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSITIONER CONTROL UNIT

    G-20 CONSULT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "AUTO DRIVE POS.".
    3. Check DTC.

    Is the DTC detected?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO-1 

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

    NO-2 

    Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

  2. CHECK SLIDING MOTOR LH CIRCUIT (POWER SHORT)

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect sliding motor LH and driver seat control unit connector.
    3. Check voltage between sliding motor LH harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connector.

  3. CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL

    1. Connect driver seat control unit connector.
    2. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 4  .

    NO 

    Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

    Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

    Inspection End
