- Supplies voltage to the load according to the request from BCM (via CAN communication).

- Detects each switch condition by the combination switch reading function.
- Judges that the exterior lamps are turned ON according to the vehicle condition.
- Requests the headlamp (HI/LO), tail lamp and front fog lamp ON to IPDM E/R (via CAN communication).
- Requests high beam indicator lamp ON to the combination meter (via CAN communication).
- Judges the outside brightness from the optical sensor signal.
- Judges the ON/OFF timing according to the vehicle condition.
- Judges the ON/OFF status of the exterior lamp according to the outside brightness and the vehicle condition.
