Diagnostic Test
- CHECK LINE PRESSURE
Perform line pressure test. Refer to WORK PROCEDURE .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair or replace the malfunction items.
- CHECK TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect CVT unit connector.
- Check torque converter clutch solenoid valve. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION (TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE) .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace the malfunction items.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace the transaxle assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace the malfunction items.
