Component Inspection
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check resistance between the following steering switch terminals.
Terminal Signal name Condition Resistance (Ω) (Approx.) 18 19 Display Depress DISP switch. 2023 Back Depress switch. 723 25 Enter Depress ENTER switch. 2023 Menu Up Depress ↑ switch. 121 Menu Down Depress ↓ switch. 321 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Replace steering wheel switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check continuity between the following spiral cable terminals.
Terminals Continuity 18 15 Yes 25 8 19 14 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
