Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP BULB
Check the applicable lamp bulb.
Is the bulb normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Replace the bulb.
- CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP OPEN CIRCUIT
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and the license plate lamp connector.
- Check continuity between the IPDM E/R harness connector and the license plate lamp harness connector.
IPDM E/R License plate lamp Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal RH E14 37 D196 1 Existed LH D195 1 Does continuity exist?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Repair the harnesses or connectors.
- CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP GROUND OPEN CIRCUIT
Check continuity between the license plate lamp harness connector and the ground.
License plate lamp Ground Continuity Connector Terminal RH D196 2 Existed LH D195 2 Does continuity exist?
YES: Replace the license plate lamp.
NO: Repair the harnesses or connectors.
