Removal and Installation of Wheel Cylinder: Removal

  1. Remove the rear drum brake assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF DRUM BRAKE ASSEMBLY ".
  2. Disconnect the brake tube from the wheel cylinder.
    NOTE: Cap or plug opening(s) to prevent fluid from spilling.
  3. Remove the wheel cylinder bolts, and then remove wheel cylinder from the back plate.
