Disassembly and Assembly of Wheel Cylinder: Disassembly

  1. Remove the wheel cylinder. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF WHEEL CYLINDER ".
  2. Remove the boots from the ends of the wheel cylinder and discard the boots.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse the boots.
  3. Pull out the pistons from the wheel cylinder.
  4. Remove piston cups from the piston and discard the piston cups.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse the piston cups.

  5. Remove the bleed valve and cap.
