Front Brake Tube and Hose: Removal
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to splash brake fluid on painted areas; it may cause paint damage. If brake fluid is splashed on painted areas, wash it away with water immediately.
- Cover the open end of brake tubes and hoses when disconnecting to prevent entrance of dirt.
NOTE:
When removing components such as hoses, tubes/lines, etc., cap or plug openings to prevent fluid from spilling.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to , "ADJUSTMENT ".
- Remove the brake tube from brake hose using suitable tool.
- Remove the union bolt and brake hose from caliper assembly.
- Remove the lock plate and brake hose from the vehicle.
