Clutch Pressure Control
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Acura MDX, 2012 Acura MDX, 2011 Acura MDX, and 2010 Acura MDX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The PCM actuates A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A, B, C, and D to control the clutch pressure. When shifting between gears or during lock-up, the clutch pressure regulated by A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A, B, C, and D engages and disengages the clutch smoothly. The PCM receives input signals from the various sensors and switches, then processes the data, and outputs current to A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A, B, C, and D.
