Front Door Pad Replacement

NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to scratch the door.
  1. Remove the door panel (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Disconnect the power door lock actuator connector, and detach the harness clips (see step  3 ).
  3. Remove the plastic cover, as needed (see step  4 ).
  4. Raise the glass fully.
  5. Remove the bolt securing the pad (A), and release the hooks (B), then remove it.

  6. Install the pad in the reverse order of removal. When installing the door panel, make sure the plastic cover is installed properly and sealed around its outside perimeter to seal out water.
