Drive Unit Replacement

NOTE:

) before doing repairs or servicing.
- Remove the quarter pillar trim (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - PILLAR AREAS ).
- Disconnect the 2P and 8P connectors (A) from the drive unit (B).
- Carefully remove the bolts and support strut (C) from the tailgate.
- Remove the mounting bolts and drive unit.
- Note the position of the alignment marks (F), then remove the nut (D) and arm unit (E) from the drive unit.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Align the marks (F) of the drive unit and arm unit to install the arm unit with the original adjustment.
