DTC 113: Lost Communication with the Gauge Control Module

- Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function (see
SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
).
Is the gauge control module OK?
YES -Go to step 2.
NO -Replace the gauge control module, and recheck.
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS ).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), then wait for 10 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS
).
Is DTC 113 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect the ACC unit 20P connector.
- Disconnect gauge control module connector A (12P).
- Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No. 10 and gauge control module connector A (12P) terminal No. 12.Fig 1: Checking Continuity Between ACC Unit 20P Connector And Gauge Control Module Connector A (12P)

Is there continuity?
YES -Go to step 9.
NO -Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A H).
- Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No. 20 and gauge control module connector A (12P) terminal No. 6.Fig 2: Checking Continuity Between ACC Unit 20P Connector And Gauge Control Module Connector A (12P)

Is there continuity?
YES -Faulty gauge control module; replace the gauge control module (see CONNECTOR TO FUSE/RELAY BOX INDEX ).
NO -Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A L).
