Side Impact Sensor (Second) Replacement: Installation

Install the side impact sensor (second) (A) with a new TORX bolt (B) using a TORX T30 bit, then connect floor wire harness 2P connector (C) to the side impact sensor (second).

Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see USING THE GR8 BATTERY DIAGNOSTIC STATION ).
Clear any DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS ).
Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
