Front Passenger's Airbag Replacement: Installation

Place the new front passenger's airbag (A) into the bracket. Tighten the front passenger's airbag mounting nuts (B) and mounting bolts (C).

Install the bracket (D).
Attach the connector clip (A), then connect the dashboard wire harness 4P connector (B) to the front passenger's airbag, then install the glove box (see GLOVE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see USING THE GR8 BATTERY DIAGNOSTIC STATION ).
Clear any DTCs with the HDS.
After installing the airbag, confirm proper system operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
