E-Pretensioner Unit Replacement: Installation

Install the E-pretensioner unit (A) with the mounting bolts (B).

Connect the floor wire harness 5P connector (C) and 14P connector (D) to the E-pretensioner unit.
Install the passenger's center console trim (see CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see USING THE GR8 BATTERY DIAGNOSTIC STATION ).
Clear any DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS ).
Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
