Before adjusting the fog lights:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.
- Make sure the tire pressures are correct.
- The driver or someone who weighs the same should sit in the driver's seat.
- Unload the vehicle.
The fog lights should aim down slightly. To check for proper adjustment:
- Park the vehicle in front of a wall (A).
- Turn the fog lights on.
- Determine if the fog lights are aimed properly:
- Measure the height of the fog lights (B).
- On the wall, mark the height of the fog lights with a piece of tape (C).
- Check each fog light beam's height. With the vehicle parked 3 m (9.6 ft) from the screen, the top of the fog light beam should be 4.5 cm (1.77 in) below the tape mark.
- If necessary, adjust each fog light to the specified height by turning the adjuster (A).
