Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION: Whenever a suitable tool is used, always wrap a cloth around the end of the tool to protect components from damage.
  1. Remove the center ventilator grilles. Refer to CENTER VENTILATOR GRILLES: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Release the pawls using a suitable tool and remove cluster lid D (1).

  3. Remove the CVT or M/T finisher. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  (CVT) or EXPLODED VIEW  (M/T).
  4. Release the clips using a suitable tool and remove the finisher/storage bin.
  5. Remove cluster lid C upper screws (A).

  6. Remove cluster lid C lower screws (A), then pull cluster lid C outward.

  7. Disconnect the audio unit connectors.
  8. Disconnect the front air control unit connector.
  9. Disconnect the harness connectors.
  10. Remove the audio unit from cluster lid C if necessary. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (BASE AUDIO), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [BOSE AUDIO W/O NAVI (TYPE A)], REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [BOSE AUDIO W/O NAVI (TYPE B)] or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (BOSE AUDIO WITH NAVIGATION).
