Front Brake Tube and Hose: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Be careful not to splash brake fluid on painted areas; it may cause paint damage. If brake fluid is splashed on painted areas, wash it away with water immediately.
  • Cover the open end of brake tubes and hoses when disconnecting to prevent entrance of dirt.
  1. Remove the brake tube from brake hose using suitable tool.
    NOTE: Cap or plug opening(s) to prevent fluid from spilling.
  2. Remove the union bolt and brake hose from caliper assembly.
    NOTE: Cap or plug opening(s) to prevent fluid from spilling.
  3. Remove the lock plate and brake hose from the vehicle.
