Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (QR25DE BATTERY) ".
  2. Remove the engine room cover.
  3. Remove the engine coolant reservoir.
  4. Remove the ignition coils. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  5. Install a suitable jack under engine.
  6. Remove engine mounting insulator and bracket (RH). Refer to ENGINE ASSEMBLY .
  7. Remove PCV hose.
  8. Loosen the bolts in the numerical order as shown in the figure using power tool.
  9. Remove the rocker cover. Remove the oil filler cap and PCV valve if necessary, to transfer to the new rocker cover.
