Start-Up Procedure Of On Board Diagnosis

Turn the ignition switch ON.
Turn the ignition switch OFF after setting the display to "trip A" or "trip B" with the odo/trip meter switch (1).
Turn the ignition switch to ON while pressing the illumination control switch (2).
Press the illumination control switch at least 3 times (Within 7 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON).

Illuminates all segments in the information display. At this time, the combination meter is turned to on board diagnosis mode.
NOTE:
- Check combination meter power supply and ground circuits when on board diagnosis mode of combination meter does not start. Replace combination meter if the circuits are normal.
- If any of the segments is not displayed, replace combination meter.

NOTE: Check the combination meter power supply and the ground circuit if the on board diagnosis does not start. Refer to , "COMBINATION METER : DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
