Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Drain gear oil. Refer to "DRAINING ".
  2. Remove transmission assembly. Refer to "WITHOUT S-MODE : REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (Without S-MODE) or "WITH S-MODE : REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (With S-MODE).
  3. Remove mounting bolts (<==) and sealing bolts (1).
  4. Remove front cover and front cover gasket from transmission case.

  5. Remove front oil seal from front cover using a flat-bladed screwdriver.
    CAUTION: Never damage front cover.
