Camshaft Runout

Put the camshaft on a V-block supporting the No.2 and No.5 journals.
Set the dial gauge vertically on the No.3 journal.
Turn camshaft in one direction by hand, and measure the camshaft runout on the dial gauge total indicator reading.
Standard : Less than 0.04 mm (0.0016 in)
