Seat Belt Buckle Switch LH Signal Inspection

1. Select "BCM" on CONSULT-III.
2. With "DATA MONITOR" of "BUZZER", confirm "BUCKLE SW" when the seat belt buckle switch LH is operated.

   "BUCKLE SW" 

   When seat belt is fastened : OFF 

   When seat belt is unfastened : ON 

OK or NG 

OK: Inspection End.

NG: GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between combination meter harness connector M24 terminal 26 and ground.

OK or NG 

OK: Replace combination meter. Refer to "COMBINATION METER ".

NG: GO TO 3.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect combination meter connector and seat belt buckle switch LH connector.
3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector (A) and seat belt buckle switch LH harness connector (B).
   CONNECTOR TERMINAL CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION

4. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector (A) and ground.
   CONNECTOR TERMINAL CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION
   
   

   A		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   M24	26		No

OK or NG 

OK: GO TO 4.

NG: Repair harness or connector.

Check seat belt buckle switch LH. Refer to "FRONT DOOR SWITCH LH ".

OK or NG 

OK: Check seat belt buckle switch LH ground circuit.

NG: Replace seat belt buckle switch LH.
