Diagnostic Procedure 4

CHECK IGNITION ON SIGNAL
Check voltage between time control unit terminal 9 and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK : GO TO 2.
2. NG : Check the following.
  - 10A fuse [No. 10, located in fuse block (J/B)]
  - Harness for open or short between time control unit and fuse
CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH LH INPUT SIGNAL
With ignition switch OFF, check voltage between time control unit terminal 2 and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK : System is OK.
2. NG : GO TO 3.
CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH LH
Check continuity between terminals 2 and 3.

OK or NG
1. OK : Check the following.
  - Front door switch LH ground circuit and condition
  - Harness for open or short between time control unit and front door switch LH
2. NG : Replace front door switch LH.
