Camshaft Sprocket Runout

  1. Install the camshaft in the cylinder head.
  2. Install the camshaft sprocket on the camshaft.
  3. Measure camshaft sprocket runout while turning the camshaft by hand.

    Runout: Less than 0.15 mm (0.0059 in) 

  4. If it exceeds the specification, replace camshaft sprocket.
