Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit and seat memory switch.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and seat memory switch harness connector.Fig 1: Checking Continuity Between Driver Seat Control Unit Connector And Seat Memory Switch Connector

CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHARTDriver seat control unit connector Terminal Seat memory switch connector Terminal Continuity B203 (A) 7 D13 (B) 7 Yes 23 6 - Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHARTDriver seat control unit connector Terminal Ground Continuity B203 (A) 7 No 23 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2
NO: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR POWER SUPPLY
Check voltage between seat memory switch harness connector and ground.
VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHARTSeat memory switch connector Terminals Voltage (V) (Approx.) (+) (-) D13 5 Ground Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3
NO: Check the following:
- Fuse
- Harness for open or short between memory indicator and fuse.
- CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR
Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4
NO: Replace seat memory switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
