Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK LIFTING MOTOR (FRONT) POWER SUPPLY
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
- Perform "Active test" ("SEAT LIFTER FR") with CONSULT-III.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

YES: Replace front power seat LH [lifting motor (front)]. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: GO TO 2
- CHECK LIFTING MOTOR (FRONT) CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit and front power seat LH [lifting motor (front)].
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and front power seat LH [lifting motor (front)] harness connector.Fig 2: Checking Continuity Between Driver Seat Control Unit Connector And Front Power Seat LH [Lifting Motor (Front)] Connector

YES: GO TO 3
NO: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
