SUNSHADE MOTOR ASSEMBLY: Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect sunshade motor assembly connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and ground.TERMINAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Sunshade motor assembly Connector Terminal R102 6 Ground Battery voltage
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: GO TO 3
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check continuity between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4
NO: Repair or replace the harness.
- CHECK SUNSHADE MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector (A) and sunshade motor assembly harness connector (B).TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCE
BCM (A) Sunshade motor assembly (B) Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M118 2 R102 6 Yes - Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCE
BCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M118 2 No
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace the harness.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
