SUNROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY: Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect sunroof motor assembly connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.TERMINAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE

Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: GO TO 3.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check continuity between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCE
Sunroof motor assembly Ground Continuity Connector Terminal R101 1 Yes 2
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4
NO: Repair or replace the harness.
- CHECK SUNROOF MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector (A) and sunroof motor assembly harness connector (B).TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCE
BCM (A) Sunroof motor assembly (B) Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M118 2 R101 6 Yes 3 3 - Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCEBCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M118 2 No 3 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace the BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace the harness.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
