Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 Nissan Maxima. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Using a suitable tool, remove the front door grip cover. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
    CAUTION: Do not fold the pawl of front power window switch finisher.
  3. Remove the front power window switch locking clip (A).

  4. Release the metal clip, then lift the front power window switch and finisher as an assembly upward to remove it from the front door finisher.

    CAUTION: Wrap a cloth around suitable tools to protect components from damage.
  5. Disconnect the harness connector.
  6. Release the tabs on each side, then separate the switch finisher (1) from the front power window switch (2) and remove.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    CAUTION: Do not fold the pawl of front power window switch finisher.
  3. Remove the front power window switch locking clip (A).

  4. Release the metal clip, then lift the front power window switch and finisher as an assembly upward to remove it from the front door finisher.
