Removal and Installation: Installation

CAUTION:

Refill with new brake fluid. Refer to "RECOMMENDED FLUIDS AND LUBRICANTS ".
Never reuse drained brake fluid.

Place master cylinder onto brake booster and tighten master cylinder nuts. Refer to "COMPONENTS .
Fill reservoir tank with new brake fluid.
Plug all ports on master cylinder with fingers to prevent air suction while releasing brake pedal.

Have assistant depress brake pedal slowly several times until no air comes out of master cylinder.
- Install and tighten brake tube flare nuts to specification. Refer to "HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT .
- Refill brake fluid and bleed air from brake system. Refer to "BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
