Sunroof Unit: Removal

  1. Remove headlining. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
    NOTE: Before removing sunroof motor switch, make sure that sunroof is fully closed.
  2. Disconnect drain hoses.
  3. Close glass lid assembly.
  4. Disconnect sunroof motor harness electrical connector.
    CAUTION: After removing sunroof motor, never attempt to rotate sunroof motor as a single unit.
  5. Remove bolts and nuts on the front end and side rails.
  6. Remove front sunroof bracket bolts.
  7. Remove rear sunroof bracket bolts and remove sunroof unit from roof panel.
    • Remove sunroof unit through the passenger compartment while being careful not to damage the seats and trim.
