Seat Belt Retractor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative and positive battery cables, then wait at least 3 minutes.
  2. Remove the adjuster cover on the seat belt anchor.

  3. Remove the anchor bolts.
  4. Remove the center pillar upper/lower garnish. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  5. Remove the anchor bolt.
    • For front passenger side, disconnect belt tension sensor.
  6. Disconnect the seat belt pre-tensioner connector.
  7. Remove the seat belt pre-tensioner retractor screw and anchor bolt, then remove the seat belt retractor.
