Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
Never apply tack-paper adhesive remover to body panel surface finished with lacquer-based paints.
- Original roof side molding may be affixed to body panel with double-faced adhesive tape.
- Remove rear pillar finisher. Refer to "REAR PILLAR FINISHER ".
- Heat molding (if necessary) to between 30° and 40°C (86° to 104°F) with a heat gun.
- Lift rear edge of molding from body panel surface and cut away adhesive tape while working forward.
- Disconnect clips, and remove roof side molding.
- Remove all traces of adhesive tape from surfaces.
