Precautions For Handling Leak Detector

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Nissan Maxima. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When performing a refrigerant leak check, use a electronic refrigerant leak detector (J-41995) or equivalent. Ensure that the instrument is calibrated and set properly per the operating instructions.

The electronic refrigerant leak detector (J-41995) is a delicate device. In order to use the electroni refrigerant leak detector (J-41995) properly, read the operating instructions and perform any specified maintenance.
