Check on Fuel Leakage
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Turn ignition switch "ON" (with engine stopped). With fuel pressure applied to fuel piping, check for fuel leakage at connection points.NOTE: Use mirrors for checking at points out of clear sight.
- Start engine. With engine speed increased, check again for fuel leakage at connection points.CAUTION: Do not touch engine immediately after stopped, as engine becomes extremely hot.
